I have training in trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorders. I additionally have experience working with individuals and families in the foster care system, and am deeply passionate about minimizing systemic barriers to care faced by vulnerable populations.Â

The therapeutic approaches I primarily utilize are trauma-informed, strengths-based, and compassion-focused. I have experience providing evidence-based techniques including CBT, DBT, behavioral activation, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused brief therapy, among others.. My therapy style is warm, active, and non-judgmental. I am committed to fostering a safe and approachable therapeutic environment for clients in which they feel accepted and heard. I strive to connect and collaborate with my clients, utilizing their personal strengths and individuality to support positive growth and lasting wellness. I meet clients where they are and work at their pace to ensure an empowered and validated therapeutic experience
My Philosophy on Mental Health:
Beginning therapy is a decision that takes courage, self-awareness, and motivation, and is certainly a decision to be proud of. I am here to support you in building on your strengths, processing experiences, reframing thought patterns, and setting objectives that best meet your needs and goals.
I believe therapy is an experience that should be empowering and restorative, and while sometimes difficult sessions may occur, I will always strive to create the most supportive and validating environment possible. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and greatly value the feedback of my clients. I encourage my clients to approach me with any questions, concerns, or emotions that arise throughout the process.
