Meet the Therapist!
Hello! I am Tania Tadeo. I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT). I have a strong interest in helping individuals who are going through difficult life stressors that may be affecting their ability to cope. My role as a therapist is to listen and work together towards healing and personal growth. I am looking forwarding to meeting you and helping you reach your goals!

I have extensive experience providing outpatient mental health treatment to children, adolescents, adults, and their families from diverse backgrounds and difficulties that include anxiety, depression, grief and loss, ADHD, low self-esteem, family conflict, PTSD, and trauma. I am a consumer of mental health and have seen the positive changes it can make and inspired me to become a therapist so I can help others in need.

How Can I Help You?
I am passionate about helping others and believe it takes courage to seek therapy and work through life challenges. I utilize a client-centered approach and create a safe therapeutic setting to support and listen to the needs of each client. I employ evidenced-based practices in treatment that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and grounding techniques. I provide services in English & Spanish.

My Philosophy on Mental Health:
I strongly believe that it takes courage accepting that there is a difficult life stressor and seeking treatment. Examples of difficult life stressors may include but are not limited to career issues, academic difficulties, health concerns, family conflict, relationship issues, ending a romantic relationship, grief, divorce, and difficulty making decisions. There are many reasons why individuals seek treatment, and you are not alone. Mental health can be intimidating and can have negative public views. My goal in therapy is to provide a detailed description of how therapy works, create a safe space to listen to your needs and build trust, listen to your story, and work together to meet your individual goals in treatment.

More About Me…

I enjoy trying out local coffee shops, catching up on my favorite television shows, visiting the Zoo, traveling, as well as hanging out with friends & family.

Fun Fact:
I am a huge Harry Potter fan.

We look forward to working with you…
