I’m especially passionate about supporting people through the many aspects of the perinatal period, including pregnancy, postpartum, infertility, loss, and parenthood. Whether you’re a birthing parent, a non-birthing parent, a partner, or someone who is carrying the weight of these struggles, you’re welcome here.
I also work with people long after the perinatal period to help them process and heal from experiences related to pregnancy, parenting, and identity that they might not have been ready or able to face when they were going through it all.
In addition to my role as a therapist, I also serve as the Clinical Director at Freedom Within. I love mentoring and supporting other therapists as they grow their skills, professional development, and confidence in this work.
How Can I Help You?
It’s hard to ask for help. Sometimes we notice something feels off, sometimes others point it out, and sometimes we just feel stuck without knowing why. Therapy can help you make sense of what’s happening and find a way forward.
I firmly believe that you’re the expert in your own life, even if maybe you don’t believe that sometimes :) My role is to walk alongside you and offer curiosity, perspective, and practical tools as you work towards the changes you want. I’m trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD and certified in perinatal mental health. I also draw from different research-backed approaches in therapy like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and others to help guide our conversations so you can understand yourself better and take steps towards what matters most to you.
My Philosophy on Mental Health:
I think starting therapy is a tremendous act of courage, and a chance to face yourself with both honesty and compassion. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable, but it’s also where real change happens. Together, we’ll get curious about the patterns in your life and the role they’ve played, without judgement. Once we understand how you got here, we can focus on where you want to go next.
