Hello! My name is Justine Elise Banal(she/they), and I am the Client & Billing Coordinator at Freedom Within Therapy and Wellness Center. I am a passionate helping professional with operations and administrative experience in the student affairs and mental health sectors. I have a bachelor’s in Asian American Studies from UCLA and a demonstrated passion for helping people with historically marginalized identities and experiences access affirming mental health care. Starting therapy can be intimidating, especially when it comes to navigating insurance jargon and policies. I’m here to make billing as seamless as possible so you can be completely present during your sessions.

I am queer and first-generation Filipino American and lived in southern California my entire life. I’m from Orange County and have been living in San Diego since 2022.
