I have extensive experience working with clients with addiction and severe mental illness while working in community mental health. This experience taught me that as humans, we are more than the labels assigned to us and the symptoms we struggle with. I also have some lived experience that has given me a unique perspective on the world. As someone who is biracial, I know what it’s like to not always fit in and struggle with your identity. No matter what you are going through, you are not alone.

How Can I Help You?
I can help you through my skills using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and an all-around compassionate approach. I have plenty of clinical knowledge, including DBT skills, CBT, and more, but I will always treat you as the expert on yourself. My goal is to understand your experience and help guide you to where you want to be. I also use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help heal traumatic wounds in a sensitive way that prioritizes safety and boundaries.

My philosophy on mental health is that we are all suffering in one way, shape, or form as humans on this earth. Acknowledging your suffering is the first step to finding the motivation to heal, grow, and feel confident in who you are. You are brave for taking this next step, and remember, you don’t have to do it alone.

I am a musician who sees music as a huge part of my everyday life. I love using music to match my mood and fully immerse myself in whatever I am doing. I play drums and piano, and my favorite genres are rock and hip-hop.

A fun fact about me is that I love San Diego! When I am not working, you can find me at a Padres game, at home gaming, or enjoying a nice day at the beach.
