How Can I Help You?
In our sessions, we will work together as a team to better understand what is creating stress or difficulty in your life and establish meaningful coping skills. I understand how difficult it can be to seek support and recognize that it is time to focus on ourselves. My main approach to therapy is Person Centered which means I appreciate going at your pace with what you bring to each session. I also add in other evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy depending on your specific needs.
My Philosophy on Mental Health:
I believe therapy is an opportunity to truly get to know yourself and become assured in the things you want to accomplish. It is important to me that therapy is accessible to everyone and uniqueness is valued in our work together. My goal is to provide you with a safe space to identify your strengths and tackle your challenges. I strive to be warm, understanding, and encouraging to help you feel empowered to accomplish your goals and build the life you want.
More About Me…
In my spare time, I love to explore new places with my husband and our two hound mixes, Hope and S’mores. As much as I love spending time outside running or walking, I very much love creative activities like quilting and crocheting. Many of my friends and family are on the East Coast, so I love to return there to spend quality time with everyone.
Fun Fact!
I love to teach tap dance, and iced mochas are my favorite.

Anne provides virtual sessions only. She is in network with Tricare, Cigna, Aetna, Kaiser and TriWest/VA. She also facilitates some of our workshop series.
