Vanessa Imus is a Registered Dietitian who provides adjunct nutritional counseling for anyone interested in finding out how food is further influencing their mental health. Food has such a HUGE impact on how you feel day in and day out. Eating the wrong foods for your body can cause fatigue, poor mental function, digestive issues, anxiety and depression, among countless other symptoms. Vanessa enjoys helping others identify which foods are working for them and which are working against them.

Hello! I’m Vanessa Imus, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist of 14 years, offering services for Freedom Within Center clients. I specialize in helping women rebalance their blood sugar to rebalance their mood, improve energy, and lose weight without diets, extremes, or shame.

I’ve supported hundreds of women through the emotional and physical ups and downs of weight challenges, stress eating, and hormonal imbalance. Food affects everything about how we feel. Sugar spikes and crashes don’t just mess with energy; they also fuel anxiety, mood swings, and emotional exhaustion.

My Philosophy on Nutrition

My approach to nutrition is all about helping you make small, steady changes that lead to big results over time.

Food impacts everything: your energy, focus, digestion, and overall sense of well-being. Food isn’t just about calories, it’s about nourishment, energy, and creating habits that truly work in real life. My goal is to help you nourish your body with what it actually needs and teach you how to meet those needs in simple, sustainable ways.

I don’t promote quick fixes or rigid rules. Instead, I focus on balanced, practical approaches that help you feel better, eat with confidence, and make changes that last.

I’m a mom of three and love helping other busy moms reach their weight loss goals, reclaim their energy, and improve their health and well-being. When I’m not running my nutrition business, you’ll find me going for a jog, at my kids’ sporting events, or just chasing after the littlest with a coffee in hand!

Fun Fact: I have an identical twin sister who happens to be the Director at Freedom Within!
