Meet the Therapist!
Hi there! My name is MacKenzie Greenlee. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), but you can just refer to me as MacKenzie, Kenzie, or as my family likes to call me, Mac.

I have been in the mental health field for 4 years and have extensive experience in working with civilians, veterans, and military families who are struggling with symptoms related to anxiety, depression, PTSD and trauma, communication difficulties, domestic violence, and relationship difficulties. As someone who grew up in a military household, I can relate on a personal and professional level what it is like to have this type of lifestyle; additionally my partner currently serves in the Navy.

How Can I Help You?
Have any of these thoughts or statements been floating around in your head for months and it feels like nothing can shake it? “Why do I keep feeling like this? Why does this keep happening? What’s wrong with me?” We can be surrounded by people, but still feel alone, unheard, disconnected, and misunderstood. This is where I come in, to help provide a place where you can navigate those thoughts, emotions, and feelings. I am here to let you know that you’re not alone!

I know life gets tough sometimes. There are many different moving parts in our daily lives, and we have many expectations placed on us. I am a firm believer that therapy is an essential and inherent part of being human and I know how difficult it can be to talk about one’s challenges and traumas. With that, I have advanced training in evidenced based therapies such as, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing that can help facilitate the change and movement you are looking for. However, I know and respect that each individual is different and unique, so I approach therapy in a “new school fashion” where I recognize and appreciate that you are the expert of your life and I am here to help guide you on that journey. I also have training in Gottman Couples therapy to help partners thrive in their relationship.

My Philosophy on Mental Health
My goal in therapy is to help provide encouragement, compassion, empathy, and utilize advanced counseling tools and strategies to help you create the life and relationships that you want. It would be a privilege to help you harness your strengths as you find solutions to your relationships, struggles, and enhance your overall well-being by building an authentic and honest relationship and creating a space that offers honesty, humor, and genuineness.

More About Me…
I like to spend my free time outside practicing archery with my partner and our Black Lab/German Shepard mix, Remington. We love to go camping and explore new places, however, don’t be fooled as I love to get my nails done and treat myself to a good spa day. I love just about any food that is unhealthy for you and enjoy watching crime shows/movies on the weekends.

Fun Fact!
During my free time you can catch me out country line dancing!
