Meet the Therapist!
Hello! My name is Jenna. I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and have several years of experience as a therapist working with children, teens, adults, and families from various backgrounds. I have a strong interest in supporting those impacted by symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.

I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, loss, and LGBTQ+. I am a Marine Corps veteran, and have lived experience with anxiety and as a member of the LGBTQ community.

How Can I Help You?
My style is warm, laid back, and non-judgmental. My approach to therapy is collaborative, and I believe it is important for us to identify and work on your goals together. I utilize various techniques including Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.

My Philosophy on Mental Health:
Part of the reason I became a therapist is to be able provide a safe space for people to talk about what they want to talk about, and feel heard and seen. I believe a lot of personal healing and growth can happen when we are able to explore and be our authentic self. I believe you know yourself best, and I see my role as your therapist as someone to assist you in developing your own strengths to support peace and wellness.

More About Me…
I am from Louisiana and loved San Diego so much that I decided to stay after leaving the military. I enjoy spending time outdoors (especially the beach), being active, grilling, trying new restaurants, watching documentaries, and spending time with friends.

Fun Fact!
I was stationed in Japan for 2 years!
