Freedom Within Center proudly accepts Aetna insurance for therapy and counseling services. Aetna clients often enjoy straightforward coverage, low copays, and access to both in-person and telehealth options.
Most of our clinicians are in-network with Aetna, allowing you to begin therapy quickly and affordably.
What Your Aetna Plan May Cover
- Individual Therapy (including trauma, EMDR, anxiety, and mood disorders)
- Both In Person and Telehealth Sessions
- Nutrition Counseling – some sessions may even be covered in full!

How to Verify Your Aetna Benefits (What to Ask)
We’re happy to verify your benefits for you if you provide us your insurance information! You can also contact Aetna Member Services and ask:
- “Do you have Freedom Within Therapy and Wellness Center in your mental health network?”

- “For outpatient therapy, what is my copay, deductible, and coinsurance?”
- “Is telehealth covered the same as in-person?”

Our Rates & Your Out-of-Pocket Costs
As an in-network Aetna provider, you are only responsible for your copay or deductible, if applicable.
Any late cancel/no show fees are not covered by insurance and are billed directly to you.
How is my information shared?
Insurance companies will often require a diagnosis to reimburse for services as they need to deem treatment “medically necessary” in order to pay for the support. This means we will share the diagnosis with the insurance company when we bill for services. You are always welcome to obtain that diagnosis from your therapist by asking.
Can I keep my information private?
Absolutely. If you’d prefer to have your information kept more private you might consider paying privately for sessions instead of using your insurance benefit. This gives you more control over how your records are shared and documented.
